William Allison - Senior Pastor
Email William

Rev. William Allison has been serving as a pastor at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer since June 1985 when he was installed as Associate Pastor. His call focused on Minister of Education and Youth. He was then called to serve as the Senior Pastor; he has served in that capacity since September, 1993.

Pastor Allison attended Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and was awarded the M. Div. degree and spent his vicarage at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Fremont, California, which is also the church to which he accepted his first call into the ministry in 1981. He also served as Associate Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Crown Point, IN before accepting the call at Redeemer.

Pastor's wife, Sue, teaches second grade at Redeemer Lutheran School.  Their oldest son, Steve, is in Orange Beach, AL and their youngest son, Matt,  lives in Kokomo with his wife, Jen.

Pastor Allison loves to play golf, fish and spend time with his family.

"For the past 25 years it has been an honor to shepherd God's people here at Redeemer.   I love my visits with the shut-ins, getting to know the member of the church and meeting the students at Redeemer Lutheran Church and School."

"My office door is always open to meet and greet you."

Jonathan Guse - DCE Intern

Jonathan Guse has been a member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer since August 1998 when he began attending confirmation classes.  After his graduation from High School in 2005, he began volunteering as one of the leaders of “The Grounds,” the high school youth group and has participated in several servant events and mission trips as both a participant and as a leader.

In May 2010, Jonathan received his Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education in Social Studies from Indiana University Kokomo.  After graduation, he began applying to find a teaching job.  During this time, he chaperoned the 2010 LCMS National Youth Gathering in New Orleans, LA.  It was there that he felt called by God to work for his Kingdom full time and decided it was time to pursue a Director of Christian Education (DCE) Certification.

Since he made this decision, he has been hired on here at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer and has begun classwork to become a DCE.  He currently is interning at Our Redeemer and will receive his certification in May 2012.

Jonathan has been involved in Martial Arts since he was 10 and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
